Progressive Therapy Services, LLC

As an avid tennis player, playing two or three times a week, it was probably inevitable that this would happen. I started to experience pain in my right elbow. The pain went from bad to excruciating! I went to Kelly at Progressive Therapy Services and her diagnosis and treatment were right on. Diagnosed as lateral epicondylitis, tennis elbow - a tennis players nightmare! With her professional care and treatment, and by following her at home therapy plan, I (we) put tennis elbow behind me. Thank you Kelly; I am now back on the court pain free!

Our Approach

Physical Therapy is a specialized healing process that helps to restore a person’s maximum functional ability after an injury or trauma. PT is also an effective method to reduce or eliminate pain involving the spine and extremities or even headaches. These ailments are frequently the result of mechanical problems in the body. They can be related to imbalances in the soft tissue (muscles or fascia), joints, ligaments and the nervous system. Patients often describe these ailments as a loss of strength, decreased range of motion, stiffness, muscle spasm, or symptoms that radiate into an extremity.

Philosophy

Our maxim "Where East Meets West" represents a more comprehensive healing process! The traditional Physical Therapist performs a detailed evaluation to determine the source of the pain through subjective history, joint and tissue mobility, biomechanical function, strength and coordination. Holistic Physical Therapists incorporate both traditional “western methods” and complementary “eastern methods” in their approach to the treatment of a patient’s disease or injury. This holistic approach provides an opportunity to affect the healing process on all levels; physical, mental, emotional and spiritual (mind, body, soul). Combined, these approaches emphasize empowering patient’s to take control of their own recovery thru education, acknowledgement and personal responsibility.
